Contexte et environnement
National Content development is key for the country’s development, to address Authorities and local communities’ expectations and consequently for Project’s social license to operate.
The Industrial Baseline Survey is critical to enhance the Project Local Content Plan.
Position is situated in Maputo with potential trips to, and contacts with, TEPMA1’s operations site and other locations in Cabo Delgado Province and the rest of the country with relevance for the project.
Activités
Coordinate studies aiming at enhancing MzLNG Project National Content plan with a local content benchmark and intelligence addressing Employment & training, Procurement of Goods & Services and Capacity building needs and opportunities; and mapping of key stakeholders.
Coordinate the implementation of an Industrial Baseline Survey to understand local capacities, gaps, challenges and opportunities to support Mozambican employment, procurement of Goods & Services and develop Capacity Building programs
The local industrialization coordinator will have responsibilities regarding identification and enhancement of local capacity (SMEs and Workforce) which includes, but is not limited to the following activities:
Promotion of business partnership; and
Identification of community content gaps and opportunities to support existing or new business streams
Contracting Workshops.
Development of CapacitaMoz Training tool
Development of Supplier registration platform
Coordinate engagements with Government of Mozambique’s Local Content Technical Commission, INP and other entities.
Coordinate the preparation reports, drafting presentations and/or communications for the CapacitaMoz Newsletter and Mozambique LNG, and events.
Coordinate the set up and management of Local Content One Stop Shop.
Support TEPMA1 good HSE practices in the workplace by reporting incidents or unsafe conditions and implement mitigation actions as possible and when required stop unsafe works being performed and advise best practices.
Profil du candidat
Develop and refine an Industrial Baseline Survey focused on activities with potential high in-country value.
Support Local content team and as required other with market intelligence.
As required, develop synergies with discipline leaders and main contractors to collect and share market intelligence information
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience.
Fluency in English. Portuguese is a big plus.
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Word..
