Contexte et environnement
The Technical & Process Manager position is accountable for providing technical and process engineering leadership to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The role is primarily focused on process engineering, process optimization, operating windows, process safety support, production and quality performance, troubleshooting, and technical leadership for capital projects, while partnering closely with the HSE function to support site safety initiatives and risk management activities.

▪ Develop and maintain Operating Windows for plant operations (Main Plant, MA Plant, and 3rd Bay).

▪ Provide technical leadership for process engineering activities, including process optimization, troubleshooting, process control improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.

▪ Partner with the HSSE function to support Process Safety Management activities, risk assessments, HAZOP reviews, Management of Change, and implementation of the Maestro HSE Management System.

▪ Lead and support Process Engineering activities, including Distributed Control System (DCS) support, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA/HAZOP) studies, management of process changes, and new product/process development.

▪ Identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, reliability, product quality, production efficiency, and cost performance.

▪ Actively participate in plant loss control activities and support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

▪ Conduct monthly reviews of production constraints, process performance, and quality constraints.

▪ Monitor and review Technical & Process action items to ensure timely completion.

▪ Provide technical leadership and process engineering support for capital projects from concept through implementation.

▪ Develop, update, and train personnel on operating procedures and process best practices.

▪ Work closely with Operations, Projects, Maintenance, Quality, and HSE teams to drive continuous improvement and operational reliability.

▪ Support internal and external audits, including process safety and quality-related assessments.

▪ Interface with Corporate Departments to support technical initiatives, process improvements, and compliance requirements.



Profil du candidat
Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility.

• Strong working knowledge of process engineering, process control, process optimization, and operations troubleshooting.

• Experience supporting process safety management (PSM) activities, including hazard analysis and risk assessments.

• Understanding of (or ability to learn) laboratory operations and equipment.

• Ability to collaborate with HSE personnel to support occupational safety, contractor safety, and process safety initiatives.

• Working knowledge of text processing, spreadsheets, and database usage.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, PI, IMPACT, SAP, and ability to learn new systems.

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires compensation disclosure on all internal/external postings: The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on competencies and experience of the selected candidate.
