About the Role
Join our team as a PATROM Officer (Transport Safety Specialist) and play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our transportation operations. You will manage the implementation and monitoring of the PATROM system, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local transportation regulations, and drive a culture of safety across our organization.

Activités
Key Responsibilities
Oversee compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
Implement and monitor the PATROM system for TEMUSA, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.
Track, monitor, and analyze OBC and camera data for non-dedicated vehicles.
Maintain close communication with transporters, logistics, operations, and administrative teams.
Support SMT audits and participate in ICT transporter compliance inspections.
Lead the RFQ process, transporter selection, and ensure HSE (PATROM) requirements are met.
Develop and execute annual safety tour and inspection plans.
Conduct monthly reviews of transportation operations to evaluate performance and compliance.
Assess and monitor transportation risks, and ensure SAFE TO LOAD & SAFE TO DISPATCH protocols.
Analyze incidents, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
Verify driver training and implement driver recognition programs.
Facilitate safety training sessions and participate in emergency drills.
Manage databases, analyze near-miss events, and develop action plans from audits and inspections.
Ensure compliance with company HSE rules and promote a strong safety culture.
Profil du candidat
Qualifications
Must be local to Linden, NJ.
We do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of transportation safety regulations (DOT, HOS, FMCSA, EPA) preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Understanding of management systems, HSEQ, logistics, OBC, GPS, and on-board cameras.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.
