OPPORTUNITY
The Mobile Clinic Nurse works within the team of the mobile clinic to provide clinical management of HIV & TB cases identified in the field. Under the supervision of the mobile clinic doctor, they follow up on referrals, initiate medications, and provide adherence counselling. This role is essential to attaining the project's goal of restoring HIV and TB services for IDP and returnee populations in the conflict-affected Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon. These will contribute to attaining Plan’s humanitarian and development mission in the Northwest and Southwest regions in the context of the ongoing crisis
II-ABOUT YOU
The Mobile Clinic Nurse should have Nursing degree from a recognized institution and Minimum of 03 years of post-qualification professional experience working in the field of community health in conflict zones. He/She must have experience in a humanitarian context is highly desirable especially experience working as part of a mobile clinic team and Proven ability to provide counselling and support to patients, particularly for adherence. He/she must have Proficient in data management and accurate reporting,Knowledge of humanitarian principles and standards and Strong working knowledge of English & Pidgin (spoken and written) is essential. Knowledge of French is an asset;Previous experience working with a non-governmental organization is preferred.
