Votre rôle
The Tax Manager is responsible for managing the process of filing returns and payment of sales, use, telecom, and property taxes to the various government authorities in the US. This position requires the direct supervision of two tax analyst positions.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

Ensure all required tax returns are filed timely and accurately
Research sales, use and property tax issues that arise
Provide support on proper taxation of products and services billed to customers in US
Manage all sales, use, and property tax audits
Respond to inquiries from tax authorities relating to filed tax returns
Respond to customer questions pertaining to sales and other transaction taxes
Manage customer and vendor tax exemption certificate process
Minimize sales, use, and property taxes to the company through effective tax planning

Votre profil
Certified Public Accountant preferred
Minimum 7 years of Public Accounting / corporate tax experience
Telecommunications industry tax experience required
Experience with telecom tax billing tools, such as Vertex
Sensitivity to other cultures
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Ability to learn; flexibile; creative, good business skills
Good team player, with ability to act as individual practitioner
