Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a VP, Business Development & Strategy . This is a new addition to our team as we are strengthening our presence in renewable energies.

The position will be responsible for leading the business development, M&A, and offtake strategy of TERUSA’s onshore activities across the US (solar, onshore wind and battery storage).



What You Will Bring:



Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related discipline required. Exceptional track-record will be considered in-lieu of a master’s degree.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, business development, M&A or comparable experience with a proven track record in a utility or for an IPP.
Experience managing a team is preferred.
Demonstrated customer-focused, commercial management, negotiation and influencing skills.
Strong analytical skills with attention to details.
Ability to quickly work into new tasks and accommodate a dynamic environment.
English required and French a plus.

Activités
Drive the short- and medium-term business strategy of TERUSA’s onshore & offshore activities. Identify and implement market penetration strategies and new business opportunities.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, including utilities and corporate offtakers. Coordinate with TGPNA.
Manage and supervise the development of a portfolio of energy storage projects across various markets.
Build relationships with external stakeholders (utilities, development partners, advisors, EPC and O&M contractors etc.) and investors (banks, tax equity, insurance companies etc.).
Lead due diligence, commercial negotiations and deal structuring for acquisitions and partnership with potential co-developers and investors.
Coordinate with the development, execution, and project finance teams.
Collaborate with other TotalEnergies’ affiliates to identify and implement new business and technology opportunities.
Keep himself/herself fully informed on key market developments and industry news/events in order to quickly identify business opportunities.
Contribute to TERUSA’s budget and long-term plan exercises and implementation.
Support TERUSA’s growth by contributing to recruitment efforts as well as establishment of TERUSA’s organization and governance.
