Activités
You will report to the Production Supervisor in Rockingham

As part of your missions you are in charge of:

Greases Produced :

setting up the equipment and starting up the production process, adjusting the process, draining Greases in bulk packaging
pumping and dumping of the raw materials and quantities in boiler based on recipe
taking samples, testing the samples for quality (titration, heating, pH measurement) using laboratory equipment
finishing the Greases according to the recipe, adding (correction quantities) additives and raw materials
pumping of finished products into bulk tanks


Operation and maintenance of the equipment:

remedying minor process disruptions and maintaining the equipment (production, filling/packing, forklifts, etc.)
performing first line maintenance, (reporting) major malfunctions in the designated systems and/or to manager/technical service
cleaning of installations and working environment, rinsing of boilers
providing information for (preventive) maintenance, possible improvements to equipment and/or process and reporting production malfunctions to foreman
support lead maintenance technician in ensuring that preventative maintenance program is implemented and adhered to 100% and facility wide, work orders are done by all individuals requesting work and that they are logged with corrective actions.


Manage transport work:

unloading trucks with raw materials, auxiliary materials and packaging supplied on pallets by means of a forklift, cooperating with and giving instructions to (external) drivers
transport of ramaterials and packaging to production, disposal, marking and labelling of end products and/or packaging
taking returned goods and finished products and storing them in the warehouse
drawing up the container layout, loading the containers.


Weighed raw materials:

weighing of raw materials by means of a production state
correct marking of the weighed raw materials
collecting raw materials on pallet per batch
preparation of raw materials in production by means of forklift
identifying and reporting impending stock shortage



Managed warehouse:

storage of goods in designated places in warehouses by means of forklift trucks
managing the small warehouse (personal protective equipment and packaging)
administering the stock changes in computer system and carrying out the stock counts



Filled and packaged greases:

filling and packaging of Greases in packaging, by means of received instructions/planning
adjustment and conversion of filling and packing machine and conveyor belts on size packaging according to regulations
carrying out checks on supplied packaging
maintaining and recording production data by means of repackaging and filling statements
Registered production data:

maintaining and recording production data using production status


Plant Department:

performing various supporting activities within the production and/or internal transport department including forklift,

You will contribute to the development of our new CERAN project that will bring a new dynamic to our facility. Located in Rockingham (North Carolina), you will support the operations and maintenance of this project which involved computerized blending for a water-resistant, heavy duty and extreme pressure grease.

You will work within a plant which means nuisance from varying temperatures, stench, slippery floors, machine noise. Strenuous postures when operating (bending down, working above the power, standing, reaching), quite frequently walking stairs and driving forklift.

You have similar experience and not bother by a plant environment with all that involved (noise, hot temperatures etc...). You are motivated, eager to learn and bring your skills to the team. You have a great team spirit, strong work ethic and not afraid to share ideas in order to improve our processes. You are details oriented, comfortable to work in autonomy, proactive and Safety is your core value.
