About the Role:

Are you a skilled linguist passionate about bridging language gaps and fostering clear communication? Lithium du Mali is looking for an exceptional Translator to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will ensure accurate and effective communication across Chinese Mandarin, French, Bambara, and English within our company, enhancing collaboration and understanding among diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Document Translation: Accurately translate various documents, reports, and materials.

- Real-Time Interpretation: Provide seamless interpretation during meetings and conversations.

- Quality Assurance: Maintain the original meaning and context in all translations, ensuring they are error-free.

- Content Creation: Develop multilingual content for internal and external communications.

- Collaboration: Partner with departments to meet specific translation needs.

- Glossary Maintenance: Create and update a glossary of technical terms for consistent translations.

- Cultural Sensitivity: Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and contextually accurate.

- Deadline Management: Handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines efficiently.

- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication with external stakeholders.

- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on translation activities to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.

- Experience: Proven experience in translating and interpreting across Chinese Mandarin, French, Bambara, and English. Previous experience in a corporate or technical environment is preferred.

- Skills:

- Proficiency in all four languages.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration.

- Knowledge:

- Understanding of cultural nuances and differences.

- Familiarity with technical terminology related to the mining industry is a plus.
