Votre rôle
The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for implementing and supporting the BI solutions :

Taking the ownership for all data process and procedures within the team
Providing technical support to ensure data integrity
Attending customer meetings and analysing the requirements
Communicating with the client and with the internal team
Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Providing attention to detail to ensure accuracy of deliverables
Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
Mentoring and helping junior members to understand and apply the best practices
Integrating data from various back-end services and databases

Do the following Database Optimization tasks :
Tables indexation
Database maintenance plan optimization
Documentation enrichments
Upgrading the UAT, PreProd, and Production servers
Maintaining the solution in operational condition and security maintenance monitoring

Votre profil
Educational background :
Computer B.Sc. or B.Eng. Degree
Minimum 4 years of proven working experience in data Analytics / Business Intelligence or IT related field
Soft Skills, Business Courses, and Certification (time management, negotiation/communication skills...) are recommended

Technical Skills :
Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, data warehousing technologies, design and architecture
Strong knowledge and experience on Dimensional Database concepts (Fact + Dimensions)
Good knowledge on SQL and Database performance tuning
Solid background in Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, ...etc)
Solid background in ETL tools (Talend, SSAS, SSIS , etc)
Solid background in Stack BI Microsoft Tools
Experience in analyzing large data sets
Experience and good practice in Agile methodologies like SCRUM and KANBAN
Good Knowledge on Scripting, command line, and operating systems administration knowledge (LINUX, Windows)
DevOps Skills and knowledge is a plus
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills

Other Skills :
Fluent English (speaking and writing)
Fluent French speaking is a plus
Team player
Excellent communication and presentation skills
