A.P Maersk Congo is looking for a motivated and driven Intern/Trainee at Documentation - Manifest .

The internship holder will be Working under the supervision of Manifest coordinator on assigned tasks of Documentation team with aims to finalize timely the Manifest preparation and submission in Customs system, prepare all documents to allow customers to proceed with the clearance of their cargo, and ensure proper reporting of activities.

Main responsibilities:
Assist Manifest Coordinator (MC) to follow up with the different stakeholders to get the discharge and load list on time for a good verification of data contained.

Assist MC to Crosscheck, correct and ensure that data submitted in the Manifest are 100% accurate.

Assist MC to Drive collaboration with the Customs and Port Authorities to avoid any exposure and fine related to the Manifest activity.

Assist MC to Coordinate all the customers requests related to Manifest amendment.

Assist MC to Follow up with OTCX for reports and with customers to ensure that systems and information from customers are aligned.

Assist MC to Follow up with origin teams to resolve the customers issues related to Manifest.

Assist MC to Prepare signals for WAR ROOM daily huddle and provide daily actions.

Assist MC to Follow up to ensure cascading done with the Team.

Assist MC to Provide guidance to OTCX team for repeated cases of mistakes, errors and omission noticed in the report received.

Assist MC to Follow up closely with the Finance team for the payment of Customs fees without delay.

Assist MC to Provide justification for any container discharged not present in the Manifest.

Assist MC to Provide justification for any container Manifested but not discharged.

Upselling and provide knowledge of local products.

Ensure good collaboration and customer experience as part of cross-functional customer teams

Drive collaboration between all products in scope of TbM

Work closely with OTCX, GSC, OCL, Cargo Team to lead and accelerate efficient

Apply the Ocean/ intermodal/ CHB/LCL strategy and direction setting

Ensure accurate Manifest shared to the Port and Customs within the deadlines.

In general, actively seek out and act on continuous improvement opportunities both in relation to customers and internal / external stakeholders.

Key Requirements:
Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain or relevant field.

Fluent French and Conversational English is a MUST.
