RC & MULTIPURPOSE DRILLERS
Location: Africa- Gabon
Responsibilities
• Manage the drill rig and crews whilst delivering safe drilling operations and client expectations
• Consistently apply exceptional drilling practises and techniques
• Ensure personal compliance with Company’s HSE regulations and site-specific rules
• Training of local employees
Requirements
• 7 years’ experience in RC or MP drilling is required
• At least 5 years in the mining or contracting fields
• RC or MP drilling experience and mobile carrier mounted diamond drill rigs, IT forklift to move rigs
• Proving Experience in either RC exploration or grade control drilling
• Certificate II or Certificate III in Drilling Operations or other related certificate/ diploma (an advantage) • Booster and Auxiliary experience essential
• Mechanical knowledge / background and a willingness to learn
• Demonstrated leadership in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
• Demonstrated ability to empower local communities and hold “cultural awareness” in high regard
• Working experience with diverse cultures is preferred and be able to communicate in French & English language would be an advantage
• Ability to work in an isolated and difficult environment
• Positively promote the company’s business at every opportunity
• Ensuring a high standard of personal presentation, behaviour and conduct at all times
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical
