We are currently looking for Software and Control expert to join our team in Tangier. Under guidance of the Terminal Automation Lead, this position provides technical skills coding and programming works on all terminal equipment.

Responsibilities:
Control access to industrial networks
Perform PM and CM interventions
Maintain RCMS connectivity
Read, write, understand, and perform modifications to existing PLC code, will at times need to write new code/project from scratch.
Modify, maintain, and upgrade SCADA systems and HMIs projects for port equipment.
Maintain up-to-date backup files for all PLC and SCADA software.
Provide expertise and advice to existing and future updates concerning the HMI/SCADA system.
Make sure that the SCADA main servers are permanently connected to the clients.
Make sure that all industrial servers are 24/7 connected and reachable.
Contributes substantially to the development of specifications for new software and components to maintain the remote crane management system (RCMS) operational.
Perform PM/CM interventions and submit monitoring reports by ensuring accurate and updated information filed in IFS.
Project management and follow-up with stockholders.
Maintains a rotating 24-hour on-call status for emergencies as scheduled. May work a varying schedule and/or shift. May be required to work overtime.
May serve in acting capacity for the terminal automation lead during absences.
Ensure SOPs, draw in confluence and improve through process confirmation RCA and feedbacks.

Requirements:
Minimum Bac +3 and additional vocational/technical education – diploma in Automation and electronics. (Any additional training in PLC/ SCADA/ Electrical fields is a plus).
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in an industrial machinery environment - marine port terminal preferred.
Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, experience in programming Siemens PLCs and SCADA systems, i.e. S7-300, S7-400, Simens HMI (WinCC Flexible), Siemens PC Systems (WinCC Advanced, WinCC 7.x or higher version) is a must.
Ability to build and manage SCADA project for Server/Client and data exchange.
Ability to write PLC code with existing and new installation for Siemens PLC using Step7 and Tia Portal software.
Skill in standard terms, practices, procedures used with SCADA and PLC.
Skill in setting up communication via industrial Ethernet, Probfibus, ASI, and all related communication protocols with the PLC, and SCADA systems
Ability to analyze and solve problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations.
Requires provisional verbal and written communications skills in English
Ability to manage time and projects.
