Projet : Technical Assistance Services to PROMOVE Transporte programme

GINGER SOFRECO is looking for a Team Leader - Resource Center Adviser to be involved in a Technical Assistance Services to EU-funded PROMOVE Transporte programme in Mozambique.

The purpose of this TA consists in (i) strenghtening of national policies and institutional capacity for the management of rural roads (ii) establishing improved rural road asset management systems and (iii) efficient administration of the road works contracts funded by the EU under the Milange-Mocuba corridor upgrading project and PROMOVE Transporte.

This full-time position is based in Maputo, with occasional trips to Nampula and Zambezia provinces.

QUALIFICATION
GINGER SOFRECO is in search of a candidate possessing the requisite skills listed below:

- at least 15 years of practice in the transport sector preferably including a management, technical or advisory, position;

- prior experience with rural road improvement and asset management ;

- prior experience in procurement of goods, works and services under EDF procedures ;

- high proficiency in written and spoken English.

Previous professional experience in developing countries will be an advantage.

Knowledge of Portuguese will be considered an asset.
