Job Vacancy Announcement: Electrician Superintendent

Position : Electrician Superintendent

Location: Goulamina, Mali

Reporting Relationship: Maintenance & Engineering Manager

Position Purpose:

As the Electrical Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive electrical maintenance and installation services to our Goulamina site, including the fixed lithium processing plant and associated infrastructure. Reporting directly to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical professionals to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency in all maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate consistent and visible leadership, supporting an organizational culture built on our core values.

- Provide clear and open communication with colleagues and mentor the electrical maintenance team for professional growth and development.

- Champion health and safety initiatives, proactively identifying and managing risks to maintain a safe work environment.

- Establish, review, and continuously improve electrical maintenance activities in alignment with the operating plan and production budget.

- Monitor maintenance systems and performance measures, formulating alternatives and improvements for continuous enhancement.

- Lead critical equipment failure investigations, contributing to the overall goal of continuous improvement.

- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and statutory obligations, while conforming to company policies and protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

- 5-10 years of experience in fixed plant and infrastructure electrical maintenance management, supervision, and preventative maintenance programs.

- 3-5 years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience.

- Trade qualification in a relevant field, including experience as an electrical nominee.

- Proven experience in leading large teams, motivating, mentoring, and influencing others.

- Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management skills.

- Experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment, with planning and scheduling expertise.

- Proficiency in HMI and PLC programming.

- Current electrical mechanic worker's license or equivalent, endorsed for installation work.

- High Voltage Operations certification.

- Current first aid certificate, including CPR, and a valid driver's license.
