Opportunity
Would you like to be part of a value driven, commercially oriented international environment where we enable global trade every day? As the CWA Area Head of Customs Delivery, you will lead the Customs Services Delivery customers through an effective organization.

You will be responsible for building and managing a high performing team whiles nurturing the Customs Delivery team through coaching and leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet the established business goals and supervise operational procedures- including new business implementation

Drive continuous improvement and collaborate with rest of the functions to build the operational base for a true integrated customer experience

Deliver a second to none service to customers as well as maintain effective and efficient operational set-ups and procedures

Offer solutions to challenges and resolving issues that are critical to improving performance and profitability for both the company and the customer on a day-to-day level

Support the organization in promoting the CHB product

Communicate and liaise with relevant people and functions within the customer’s organization, customs authorities and Maersk offices locally and abroad building relationships between all parties for mutual benefit

Continuously follow up on all customs clearance processes

Leadership/Talent Management:
Set clear objectives and guide team to achieve targets and performance standards

Ensure coaching and best practice sharing across the local CHB team

Monitor service delivery per port and follow-up on team’s performance

Lead the team to achieve best-in-class Customer experience

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
General knowledge of customs house brokerage

A minimum of 5 years leadership experience

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong knowledge of E2E logistics operations

Result orientated, ability to set the right priorities, solid planning skill, able to work systematically.

Self-disciplined individual with a sense of urgency, high learning agility and change mindset

Comfortable and capable of exerting influence without authority

Great team player

Fluency in English- French is a strong plus
