Chemonics International seeks to build a roster of qualified and experienced senior level experts, Deputy Chief of Party, and Chief of Party candidates for current and anticipated water and WASH-focused donor-funded programs. We seek expertise in one or more of the following areas: water resource management; water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); urban WASH; water sector governance; water sector financing; systems thinking; water sector policy and regulation; water sector resilience and planning; and climate change mitigation and adaptation. Position locations will vary depending on awards and may include: United States, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of Congo, and opportunities worldwide.

Requirements:
Master’s Degree (or higher) in water and environmental engineering, public health, business, international affairs, public administration, public policy, or a related field.
Proven technical experience in target countries in WASH, water resource management, urban WASH or a related field.
Minimum 10 years in the management and supervisory experience of WASH, water resource management, governance, and/or capacity building programs with a US Government foreign affairs agency, international assistance organization, or non-governmental organization.
Minimum of five (5) years of field experience working in one or more developing countries.
Demonstrated experience in liaising with high level representatives from both the public and private sectors.
Demonstrable experience managing teams, with strong interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with USAID regulations and compliance requirements preferred.
Fluency in English required; French language a plus.
