A.P Maersk is looking for a candidate to take up the role of Landside Transit Coordinator in Matadi, Congo. The position holder is going to Coordinate Through Bill of Lading operations for the Luanda - Lufu Corridor.

He/She will be in charge of performing transit formalities and customs clearance when applicable, and Maintaining and developing relationship with key stakeholders at Lufu border. Besides, He/She will have to Live, communicate, inspire, and promote A.P. Moller Maersk Group’ Mission, Vision, and Values.

Main responsibilities:
Coordinate operations for all cargo from Luanda, Angola to DRC via Lufu

Collaborate closely with Angola colleagues, vendors, Customs authority and Lufu Terminal operator to ensure best services

Coordinate manifest transmission based on Angola customs T1

Monitor incoming and outgoing containers flux

Ensure adherence and compliance to internal SOPs, Country law and regulation

Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving.

Take all measures to prevent and avoid any possible additional costs that can negatively affect the margin initially estimated.

Take all measures to solve any issues preventing process completion.

Make sure all required KPI data is captured and that TrakIT is filled in timely.

Other Areas of Responsibilities:
Receive invoices from supplier and ensure disbursement settlement

Upselling of Maersk product: CHC, CHB and FERI/AD

Follow up on Delivery Order issuance

Act as Maersk brand representative

Ensure adherence with all security policies and SOP’s.

Ensure a constant attention to the prevention of fraud, collusion, and nepotism in any elements of our business.

Any other duties, tasks and / or responsibilities as advised by your manager.

Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience in Customs clearance, Transit, and import/export operations.

CHB expertise is a key factor for this position.

Good knowledge and experience in SEGUCE and SYDONIA is a Must.

French fluency and conversational English is a Must.

Good Client and product knowledge.

Team working, Process execution, Communication, and Interpersonal skills.
