Responsible to:
1. Facilitate HSE Advisors in the execution of their responsibilities

2. Ensure the provision of HSE advice and support needed by site managers for them to execute their HSE responsibilities

3. Manage or facilitate HSE implementation projects which include multiple sites in their scope

4. Determine and communicate resources needed for the implementation and maintenance of the HSE management system on site.

5. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the global HSE Management system and communicate these to the Area HSSE Manager

6. Assess the compliance status of sites to HSE legislation and advice site managers on the closure of compliance gaps

7. Monitor the progress of sites to achieve their HSE Objectives and complete the associated action plan.

8. Reporting on the performance of the HSE management system to the Area HSSE Manager and Site Managers

9. Ensure the provision of coaching and training to ensure people’s competence or ability in:
1. Identifying the hazards involved in their work and working with the control measures provided

2. Report incidents, risks and non-conformities using the processes and systems provided

3. When and how to stop work in case of HSE concerns

4. Correct unsafe behaviors in a constructive manner

5. How people can contribute to HSE performance

10. Communicate recent incidents, newly found risks, and progress made in achieving the HSE Objectives on a monthly basis.

11. Ensure reportable incidents are reported to governmental authorities in accordance with the applicable legislation.

12. Maintain the records prescribed by the HSSE Framework

13. Periodically evaluate the HSE performance of sites and provide information required for the Area Management Review

14. Advice site managers and the Area HSSE Manager on improvements necessary to ensure HSE performance on their site(s).

Qualification:
▪ Professional Management & Leadership Courses

▪ Degree in Environmental Management

▪ Bachelor's Degree on Health & Safety Management

▪ NEBOSH Safety Management Diploma

▪ ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor

▪ ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor
