Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Ocean Fulfillment team, train and grow employees, improve the way the team works.
Provide direction and clarity to the team in order to deliver our promise to customers, sail full ship on the most reliable network at lowest cost.
Drive promise fulfilment, effective space utilization, flow efficiency, scheduling, coordination and partnership with country clusters, ROM, and relevant Centre Functions.
Be responsible for fuel and environmental efficient vessel operations across the portfolio of the services.
Drive the establishment of vessel operation contingency plans and driving cost saving opportunities.
Participate in and support vessel scheduling, ROM, port deployment projects or any other improvement projects within or outside OCL.
Develop, strengthen and optimize Maersk services with the objectives to increase productivity in terminals, reduce port stays, high quality of vessel stowage and create customer value at lower possible cost.
Deputy to Head of Africa Ocean Customer Logistics.
Responsible for planning & delivery for all customers in the trade scopes to and from West Africa. Covering 5 direct services from Asia, 10 services from West-Med and our 6 feeder services in West Africa.
Responsible for ensuring we deliver export and import volumes in close coordination/cooperation with 3 x Areas, Region and ROM. Including managing all seasonal commodities (cocoa, coffee, cotton, cashews, etc.) directly with 20+ Country organizations.
Owner of services with stakeholder pairing network & market directors in Copenhagen.
Owner of procurement strategies for terminals in West Africa and anchor for external stakeholders (port groups/terminals) in a vast geographic area.
Together with the 4 other OCLs responsible for roundtrip service delivery on all services calling West Africa.

A minimum of 8 years experience in the industry
